HAPPY DAYS!

Sunday = Elephant Ride and Pancakes

Well after I slept in the school as I wanted to watch Manchester United V Barcelona. at 1:30am Thai time. I realised that I had been locked in the classroom.

NIGHTMARE!!

I climbed out the window and met my 13 year old tour guide who speaks 20 words of English and Liam, a cambridge graduate.

We paid Thai prices at the elephant park. 100 baht or 2 pound each. Foreign prices were 300 baht each 6 pound. We paid thai prices as we taught the womans who charged us's daughter.

Just watch the first few seconds of this video. Its dedicated to my Brother Andrew Morris

Happy days.

Later on in the day, here there is a pancake stall, and and ice cream stall, located 500 metres away from each other. So me being me i bought a pancake, went to the ice cream stall opened the pancake and she knew what to do.

I had about 20 Thai's laughing at me. But man that pnacake with Ice cream on top was so worth it. ALOY!!!

Oh one last thing say Ice cream really quickly folks!!!! you're speaking 2 languages. English quickly and Thai!!!!

Get in!! I bet you didn't know you could speak Thai

Saturday = Train De-railing and taken home by a police officer.

Well what a weekend folks.

Started off waking up at 7am. Off to a Namtok (Waterfall) and Hells fire pass.

We were told to get a train to the Namtok. This train is incredibly historic it was bulit before the second World War for transportation of goods and the like.

We were on the train for what seemed like 5 minutes and then BANG!! it de-railed, i was standing up, therefore thrown to the left hand side of the train.

I was unhurt, likewise to everyone on the train as it hadn't reached its optimum speed. We were lucky as it was 200 metres away from the river. Meaning the train would have fell into it if it had of de-railed there.

Now we were taken by a motorcycle, By the way dad there is no need for a licence to ride a motorbike here. I've been speeding the streets like a maniac.

And a fellow teacher kindly took us the rest of the way. First Hells fire pass;

Hells fire pass.

There should be a documentary floating about on this place Dad. About World War 2 and how the Thai's made a pathway through mountainous rock for a railway in blistering heat. They were brutually attacked before they started work, because the Japanese seen it as Motivation!!!

From here we went to Sai Yok Waterfall and bathed in the glorious sunshine. Happy Days.

Later on I went to Kachanaburi by myself, on the way home I got the wrong bus, got lost asked several people to give me a lift and then eventually found the right bus. That took me to within 5km of where i wanted to be.

Then a Thai Policeman gave me a lift home on his motorbike while he was working. He wanted money for it to!!! so I paid him 20 Baht, thats 40 pence to you and me.

STAGE FRIGHT

Yesterday, was a lovely day in Thailand. We are situated right next to an elephant camp that has roughly 60 elephants in it. Beautiful.

The school I'm at, Wangpho school. Is full of beautiful, cute and intelligent children.

The Hall, Here the kids are being taught Thai Boxing.
I later did exercises upon the stage for all the school to copy. I did all sorts of stretches and finished with the good old fashioned Press-up. Happy Days.

Later on in the day I played football, went to a massive Thai Market. Where the food was for all to see, and aloy it was to. Gorgeous food they have here. AMAZING PANCAKES!! better than Pont in Ghana, and i'm not just saying that.

This video is what i call a 2 minute wonder of Thailand. In Australia they will be 5 minute wonders. Innit

Finally when the evening came in I wanted to do some washing. Well I did the washing using two bowls, and what you guys would call DAZ. It took me from 7pm to 9pm! to wash around 30 garments of clothing.

Beforehand i got a lesson of 2 Thai teachers on how to do it. With more actions than words and still at least 20 of the garments are not fully clean.

NIGHTMARE!!

Face to face with a Scorpion.

People, I bet not many of you have been face to face with one of these.

However as off yesterday at about 7pm Thai time, i was off for a shower after my evening run and well, I got my things ready went into the shower.

Then that black little creature fell out of my towel!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOD. My reaction to stare at it for 5 minutes until it crawled through the filter hole of the shower.

10 DAYS LEFT IN THAILAND. GUTTED!

From today I have 10 days left in Thailand. I'm incredibly sad.

Today I taught 5 lessons of English. With help from Liam a Cambridge Graduate.

I LITERALLY LOVE THIS SCHOOL.

The children want to shake your hand all the time. The teachers laugh at us, as they say for Thai people a trip to the waterfalls costs nothing but for foreigners it costs 20 Baht.

The food here is amazing. fried rice with crab meat. OMG. ALOY!!! means tasty in Thai.

Each lesson me and Liam taught the alphabet, linked words with it. Then taught verbs. The kids seem to be progressing well with their English.

I also taught a child with down-syndrome seperately today. He was writing his ABC'S for the first time. Lovely child.

Kanchanaburi Food Markets.
BEAUTIFUL!

'Good morning students, my name is David and I'm here to teach English. I'm also crazy about sport.'

In a way that Dennis my orientation guide would have been proud. The Thai English teacher here is beautiful to. Happy Days. She offered me cake today, she certainly knows how to win me over.

There's tennis courts and a football pitch right next to me. HEAVEN! plus i had a Honeyed grilled chicken last night. It was Gorgeous.

I've found this book in my accomodation also. Thats Amazing! about this guy on the run from jail.

Then this guy knocks on my door, said that this girl was staying upstairs and he would see me tomorrow. He only brought me a Thai breakfast in the morning. Which was literally like heaven like so good. My 1st Breakfast I've had here.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!! UNAGI!! SALMON SKIN ROLL!!! WOLVES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right guys!!!

I've just had the best weekend you could ever make up.

I taught my last lesson at Watakuraeu School on Saturday. Then travelled to Kanchanaburi. This place started of reminding my of Pattaya. With old men holding hands with 23 year old thai's. However the taxi. A motorbike with metal railing beside it where we sat. Took us to the;

the Jolly Frog; This was situated in suburban area with a street of pubs just outside its vicinity. Perfect. I took this time to have a couple of games of pool, Ring Auntie Dorothy and my parents.

Sunday. Wow!!!

Woke fairly early to the sound of birds tweeting. How lovely. Today me and mike went to Erawan Falls. A seven tier waterfall. OH MY GOSH. We went all the way to the top of course. 1 mile up.

The view was beautiful. I went for a swim in the 7th tier folks, then when i had a rest. You know Appy Feet in the Metro Centre? Where fish chew your hard skin. Well the natural version of this occurred. Fish started chewing my feet oh my gosh it felt SOOOOOOOO weird, but afterwards there was this lovely sensation.

At 4pm we went back to the city centre. Had a bit to eat, I had fake donuts if there ever was such a thing. Then a trip to a railway bridge, one of the most famous I'm lead to believe.

Now it was Approaching 10pm. Wolves V Blackburn. Me and mike, as he looks like Justin Bieber over here were forced into a bar by several woMEN. We ate Banana roll and 2 smoothies.

At half time!!!

WOLVES WERE RELEGATED.

2nd half; We changed pubs, i wasn't happy. These two girls asked us to go into there bar, it was pretty busy with the football on and a pool table. I was happy.

We were now 3-0 down, I thought i left at half time it was 2-0. OMG!!! anyway i played this woman at pool she beat me. now blackpool were winning and Birmingham had scored.

I was about to cry. I had my wolves shirt on.

HOPE!! We score. 3-1!!. hopes slashed again as i get beat again at pool and Wigan score!!.

So this woman beat me 3-0 at pool. its the 84 minute and Wolves are in the championship. Not until!!!!!!

The mighty STEPHEN HUNT and Pauvlchencko. Keep the mighty Wolves in the premier league!!!!!!

WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED FROM THE PREMIER LEAGUE!!!!!!!

Two days ago, Me, Mike and Liam did a puppet show for the children at the orphanage. And they loved it!! well i think they did, but i didn't see much of it actually.

I was underneath the table with a curtain surrounding it making really weird noises, nothing new there then. BBBBBBBBRUCIEEEEEEEEEE. In the puppet show we had;

Michael Jackson

Smeagal

Danan Truong

The story was about who killed Michael Jackson. I think I'll leave it to you guys to post who you think would have killed him.

Its Intriguing.

GOOD MORNING STUDENTS!!!

Today we had 3 lessons so 1 each between the 3 of us. I started at 8:30am so 1:30am England time. Oh by the way i have a shower with frogs. I've given them names well we have. Ones Dennis, ones Suvannah and Ones now called Jim.

Oh yeah I play football everyday at 5pm with the teachers. I've scored in every game. GET IN! partly because i never defend and ball hog all the time. Oh and We've played petanque. A french game i studied at A-Level. They keep asking me to drink whiskey here to they drink it like i drink squash. Unbelievable Tekkers.

Oh and they have Dunking donuts here, Ice cream parlours and beautiful waterfalls to visit.

Back to teaching. I taught the children the alphabet again however asked the children to place words at the start of each letter. They seemed to get the hang of things quite quickly. I'm acting a bit like a class clown to so the kids enjoy a teacher on their own level but i also make sure they learn from it. Fun learning works best folks!!!!

I was speaking to a Thai English teacher today, she was lovely, stated she couldn't speak English that well but she could, gosh Thais are just to polite. my word.

Oh one last thing in Pattaya. one 'woman' shouted out at me. ' i wanna **** your ass' oh how 'she' regretted that. Everyone starred at this woMAN and she quickly disappeared

Thailand so far.

After arrival on the 8th of May. I was taken in a 'taxi' for a hours ride to the people in charge of my placement. Dennis and Suvannah. Dennis an ex pro Ice hockey player and Suvannah with a vast array of pro golfing contacts.

As soon as I arrive I state that my football team are playing, is there anyway of watching it? Well when i came back from finding a cash point. Dennis invites me upstairs to his widescreen televison to watch the mighty Wolves V West Brom.

Now right, I want to go for a run in the morning before i'm taken to my placement. So I set my alarm on my phone. However I wake up and realise that I set my alarm in English time. So I wake up and check the time its says half 7 on my watch, therefore I get ready and go for a run. It's pitch black, later on i realise that I looked at my watch upside down it was actuall half 1 in the morning that i went for the run and i wondered why it was pitch black and dogs riddled with disease were chasing me.

Thailand. WOW!!

Oh my gosh guys, you lickle snuggle bunnies. I'm here in a place called, Oh i cant remember its name. However right literally I was in walking street last night. Now people I urge you to google walking street in Thailand, your computer may block it.

I'm staying in a room which is 2 pound 10 pence a night. It has a double bed, shower and everything a basic travelodge would have. I have been in thailand for 6 days now and my gosh its unbelievable.

The guys in charge; Ones a 'lovely'woman the other an ex pro ice hockey player. I arrived when Wolves were about to play West Brom. I watched us win 3-1 from this guys house. What a legend.

From here the next day, Monday i was taken to a volunteer house, However with no school. I stayed here with 2 people. One guy with an IQ of 158. OMG! and the other a girl, Ameria. However we didn't do any teaching for 3 days. we travelled thailand, went to bangkok and went to historical sites around our local area.

I think now is where the fun is starting and all these hilarious stories come from. For example in Heathrow i was chatted up by a 59 year old woman who happens to live near syndey and has offered me free accomodation when i'm in the area. She also said she wanted to give me a game of golf. And gave me her number. I mean free accomodation, happy days.

On the underground this really old woman, wanted me to take her to Heathrow and take her to the right terminal. And yesterday OMG. right these woman you have no idea.

I'm with these two english girls and one guy. He knows it all been here for 7 months. We were walking down a street and he says, right the girls on your left are freelance. 500 baht a shot of 1000 baht a night thats 10 pound a shot or 20 a night to you and me and thats all i can fit on this blog folks out of time.

COME ON YOU WOLVES!!!!!
